How much money is sitting in your abandoned carts?
Most people who start a checkout do not finish it. Put in four numbers from your store and this works out the revenue left in those carts each month — and how much of it a reminder could bring back, on an assumption you choose and can see.
This is an estimate built from your numbers, not a measurement of your store. The recoverable figure is only as good as the share you assumed a reminder wins back.
How it is calculated
Nothing is hidden. Three multiplications:
- Abandoned carts = checkouts started × the share abandoned.
- Revenue left in them = abandoned carts × average cart value.
- Recoverable revenue = revenue left × the share a reminder could win back. The yearly figure is that, twelve times.
What it assumes, stated plainly
- That the share a reminder wins back is the number you typed. We do not know yours and we do not publish one; 10% is there so the page has a worked example, not because it is typical.
- That every abandoned cart was a real intention to buy. Some were people checking the shipping cost or comparing prices, and no reminder will bring them back. That is part of why the share you recover is far below 100%.
- That a recovered cart is bought at its full value, with no discount to win it back. If you offer one, take it off the result.
- That your months look alike. Run it on a busy month and a quiet one rather than on the average of the two.
The revenue left in abandoned carts is the size of the problem, not money you are owed. The recoverable line is the part worth chasing — and the only way to know its real size is to send reminders and count the orders that come back.
Send the reminder on WhatsApp
Super Agent workflows send an abandoned-cart message on WhatsApp with a link to the shopper’s own cart, so one tap takes them back to what they left. It works with Shopify and WooCommerce, and your campaigns report the orders they produced — so you can replace the assumption above with your own number.

Questions
- What share of abandoned carts can a reminder recover?
- We do not publish a figure, because we have not measured one across stores. The 10% in the form is an example to start from, not a benchmark. The honest way to find yours is to send reminders for a month and count the orders that came back through them.
- Where do I find my checkouts started and abandoned?
- Your store admin keeps both. Shopify lists abandoned checkouts under Orders, and its analytics show how many sessions reached checkout; WooCommerce needs a cart-tracking plugin or your payment provider for the same counts. A rough monthly figure is enough to see the size of the problem.
- Where does my data go?
- Nowhere. The arithmetic runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us, stored, or needed to see the result, and there is no signup.
- How does Super Agent send the reminder?
- A Super Agent workflow sends the shopper a WhatsApp message with a link to their own cart, so one tap takes them back to what they left. It works with Shopify and WooCommerce, and the campaigns you send report the orders they produced.
