WhatsApp link generator, with UTM tags for your bio
Type your number and the first message you want customers to send. You get a wa.me link that opens a chat with you, a button you can paste into your website, and a tagged link to your site so your analytics can tell which post sent the visit.

How it works
Nothing clever, and all of it is in your browser:
- The number: everything that is not a digit is removed, a leading zero is dropped, and the country code goes in front. If you type a number that starts with + or 00, it is taken as a full international number and the country list is ignored. The result must have between 8 and 15 digits, the range of an international phone number, or you get an error instead of a link that opens nothing.
-
The link is
https://wa.me/followed by that number, and?text=followed by your message, percent-encoded so accents, emoji and line breaks survive. - The tagged link keeps your page address and any parameters it already has, and sets utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Values are trimmed, lowercased and have spaces turned into hyphens, so Instagram and instagram do not show up as two sources in your reports. An empty field is left out.
What it cannot do, stated plainly
- It cannot tell whether the number is actually on WhatsApp. Tap Test it on your phone before you print the link anywhere.
- It does not know every country’s mobile format. In Argentina, for example, WhatsApp numbers usually carry a 9 after the country code (54 9 …) and no 15. When in doubt, copy the number exactly as your own WhatsApp profile shows it.
- UTM tags go on the website link, not on the WhatsApp link. A wa.me link opens an app, so your analytics never sees it.
A link is only as good as the reply
Every chat that link opens is a customer waiting. Super Agent answers them on WhatsApp 24/7, with your store’s catalogue, prices and stock, and it adds UTM tags to the links it sends so the sales those chats produce can be attributed.

Questions
- Does a wa.me link work if the customer has not saved my number?
- Yes. That is what click-to-chat is for: the link opens a chat with your number in WhatsApp, on the phone or on WhatsApp Web, without the customer saving you as a contact first. The prefilled message is a suggestion they can edit or delete before sending.
- Why does the number need the country code?
- WhatsApp only accepts the full international number in a wa.me link: country code first, then the number, with no plus sign, no spaces, no dashes and no leading zero. This generator removes everything that is not a digit and drops a leading zero for you, and refuses a result that is shorter than 8 or longer than 15 digits, the range an international number can have.
- Can I track a WhatsApp link with UTM tags?
- Not on the wa.me link itself. It opens an app rather than a page, so your website analytics never sees the visit and UTM tags on it go nowhere. Put the UTM tags on the link to your website, which this page builds for you, and give each WhatsApp link a slightly different prefilled message if you want to tell from the first message which post or ad a chat came from.
- Where does my data go?
- Nowhere. The link is built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us, stored, or needed to get the result, and there is no signup.
